In the podcast I learned a few valuable things. First, I learned that there is a difference between captioning and objective. Really it is just copying it down. Speech also gets complicated but yet it is straightforward and objective. That is a reason why speech is so moving. It also gets complicated when you add things to it, like indirect ways of speech. Speech and writing are two different things. Speech is more about the oral form of communication. Contrast to speech, writting is more about creating characters and symbols on paper that add up to create a meaning that someone can look at, read, and understand what the author is trying to say.
